Sky viewer

Sky viewer (Project SKY // Lab) is the astronomy data viewer of his chaipat.cc research network, at sky.chaipat.cc. It sits beside his astronomy research at National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT).

The viewer is built for FITS, the standard file format of astronomical data: it takes a FITS file, reads its raster images and binary tables, and shows the image with a filter and scale, the observation's metadata (object, instrument, filter and exposure) and statistics about the data. Until a file is loaded it waits for one, so the page starts empty.
