Easter eggs (chaipat.cc)

Article
From Chaipat's knowledge graph

The easter eggs in src/eggs.js are a few queries that do something other than search, the way some search engines hide them. Each is matched against the whole query, so a real question that happens to contain the words still gets a real answer. They are plain JavaScript.

Some move the page: it can tilt, shake or blink. Two play: a spinning ASCII donut after donut.c, and a game of 2048 that his solver, ported to JavaScript, can play for you. Some play: a coin, dice of any size, the answer to everything. Some are jokes about search itself. A few know about him: "hello world" prints Hello World in every programming language his work uses, counted from the graph; "happy birthday" throws confetti and says how early or late you are for the site's own birthday. Which queries they are is left for visitors to find; asking the site whether it has easter eggs gives a few hints.
