The logo and doodles, in src/brand.js with their styles in HTML and CSS, are the site's mark and its costumes. The mark is the letters cj, for the cj: vocabulary the whole graph is written in, drawn as a tiny graph: the dot of the j is a node, linked to the c by an edge. It appears beside his name in the header, as the browser icon and as the app icon.
On some days the mark dresses up and his name takes a matching font and animation:
| Day | Doodle |
|---|---|
| New Year | gold, with sparkles |
| Songkran | water blue, with drops, the name riding a wave |
| 24 April, the site's birthday | confetti |
| Halloween | a bat and a pumpkin node, the name flickering |
| Christmas | a star, the name twinkling |
Clicking a doodle asks a question that fits the day. The animations stop for visitors who ask their system for less motion.
