Thai zipcode placefinder

Thai zipcode placefinder looks up places in Thailand by postal code and searches Thai addresses. It is a small Flask project that keeps a REST API separate from a minimal web interface built with Jinja templates.

What it does

• Zipcode lookup: every province, district and subdistrict that shares a postal code.
• Search: find addresses by name.
• Reverse lookup.
• Suggestions: autocomplete as you type.

Each feature has an API endpoint and a matching page. Results are in Thai.

Data

At start-up, the app loads Thai address data from a public dataset by mennwebs, which the README credits. The source can be replaced through an environment variable. A route document lists every endpoint.
