Ontology & SPARQL cheat sheets
Ontology & SPARQL cheat sheets are two dense, two-page reference sheets in Thai, written in LaTeX for students preparing for quizzes in an ontology course at Chiang Mai University.
The two sheets
- Ontology and SPARQL: ontology basics, building a schema in Protégé (classes, properties, individuals) and how to query it, with worked examples.
- SPARQL 1.1 reference: a complete reference to the query language, with 15 practical examples.
Building
Both are compiled with LuaLaTeX or XeLaTeX, which handle Thai script well, through a Makefile (make all, make ontology, make sparql). The Thai typeface, TH Sarabun New, is bundled in the repository, so the sheets build the same way on any machine without installing fonts.
Context
They come from the same term as his ontology-augmented health recommendation project, a course project in ontology engineering built on OWL and SPARQL.
