PostgreSQL 16 Docker image is the source of ghcr.io/appleboiy/pg16, a PostgreSQL 16.3 image for development and testing, published on the GitHub Container Registry. It starts with the default user, password and database (all postgres) on port 5432, so a project can have a database in one command.

The repository also has a Makefile, a Compose file, an initialisation script and a folder of SQL exercise solutions that run against it.
