COVID-19 in US counties
COVID-19 in US counties is a data-analysis project for CS203, a data-science course at Chiang Mai University, by a team of three students including him. It explores a Kaggle dataset of daily COVID-19 cases and deaths in each US county from 2020 to 2022.
The data
Each row gives a county's identifier (its FIPS code), state, date, total confirmed cases, total deaths and coordinates.
The work
The analysis is a series of Jupyter notebooks notebooks: cleaning the data, exploring it and visualising it. Results are summarised in a presentation, and the README comes in Thai and English.
The project is also run like a software project. GitHub Actions checks code quality with SonarCloud and measures test coverage with Codecov, and Renovate keeps dependencies up to date.
