ADrive is a self-hosted file manager, like a personal cloud drive. It stores files on the server's own disk or, optionally, in Google Cloud Storage.
Features
- Upload, download, preview, edit and organise files.
- Folders and tags, and a trash that empties itself automatically.
- List, grid and gallery views that work on phones.
- Previews for images, video, audio, PDFs and text.
- A built-in database viewer in development mode.
How it runs
The front end is React and the back end is a Node.js API, both in JavaScript, started together with Docker Compose through one script. To store files in Google Cloud Storage instead of on local disk, you add a service-account key and a bucket name to the back end's settings. A Makefile wraps the usual commands (start, stop, logs, restart). The repository includes documentation and GitHub Actions workflows.
